REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS:

  • Minimum 3 years direct experience interacting with regulatory agencies, with preference to those with experience in alcohol licensing or comparable regulated industries.

REQUIRED EDUCATION:

  • High School diploma

Responsibilities
  • Prepare accurate license renewal submissions for all alcohol, health, business, tobacco, entertainment, fire, etc. licenses and permits within assigned states, coordinating with Operations and other RSC departments as necessary.
  • Submit all renewals prior to license task due dates.
  • Coordinate inspections, as required, and follow up with agencies and restaurants to ensure licenses/permits are issued prior to issuance deadlines.
  • Investigate and effectively dispose of administrative violations related to alcohol, health, business, tobacco, fire and entertainment, etc. with an eye toward avoiding suspensions and/or reducing monetary penalties, thereby maintaining the company’s brand image and mitigating financial impact.
  • Provide ongoing compliance to restaurants by: identifying and registering managers/licensees; timely responding to Operations inquiries; and, effectively communicating operating requirements (i.e. alcohol certification, employee permits, etc.).
  • Participate in government agency audits by compiling materials and negotiating with auditors.
  • Maintain research and data contained in shared drives and LicenseHQ data repository.
  • Complete special projects as directed by department leadership team.
