Description

Responsibilities Identify, interpret, and monitor laws and regulations applicable to the Company, particularly those related to the capital markets industry. Draft, review, and update legal documents, internal policies, and standard operating procedures to ensure alignment with prevailing laws and regulatory requirements. Provide legal advice and opinions to management and business units on matters related to corporate actions, business activities, contracts, and regulatory implications. Review and manage contracts, agreements, and legal documentation with internal and external parties to mitigate legal risk. Support the Company in maintaining licensing, permits, and legal standing, including coordination with regulators and external legal counsel when required. Represent and liaise with regulators, external legal advisors, and relevant stakeholders on legal matters affecting the Company. Ensure proper documentation, record keeping, and legal archiving in accordance with statutory requirements. Maintain strict confidentiality of company and client information in written, oral, and electronic form, in accordance with applicable laws. Support general compliance activities by providing legal interpretation and guidance to ensure the Company’s activities are conducted in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) or equivalent. Minimum 5 years of experience in the capital market or financial industry Strong understanding of corporate law, contracts, and compliance requirements. Excellent analytical, research, and communication skills. Detail-oriented with strong negotiation abilities. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively. Experience in the technology or related industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

The Legal Specialist will identify and interpret capital market regulations while drafting and reviewing legal documents and internal policies. They will also provide legal advice to management and represent the company in dealings with regulators and external stakeholders.
