We are recruiting for a Legal Support Assistant to join a highly successful Employment team in Bristol. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a background in PA/secretarial roles to advance their career by providing essential support to lawyers and HR professionals.

Requirements of the Legal Support Assistant include:

  • Previous experience in legal support or a professional services environment is preferred
  • Exceptional customer service skills, with a proactive and confident approach to problem-solving
  • Strong organisational skills and keen attention to detail to anticipate and meet team need
  • Ability to commute to the Bristol office at least three days per wee

Responsibilities:

As a Legal Support Assistant the role includes administrative, compliance, and client-focused responsibilities, offering a chance to work in a collaborative, dynamic environment. Full training will be provided to ensure success in the role.
This role will be Office based, but after a brief period of training, the firm would be open to flexible working and a more hybrid working pattern.

Responsibilities of the Legal Support Assistant include:

  • Provide comprehensive PA and secretarial support, including diary management, travel arrangements, and meeting coordination
  • Assist with compliance, billing, email, and matter management, as well as business development activities
  • Act as the first point of contact for clients, colleagues, and work referrers, building strong professional relationships
  • Proactively manage credit control and support team operations with a detail-oriented approach
