  • Experience in a legal support or secretarial role, ideally within a professional services environment.

You’ll play a vital role in enabling the smooth delivery of legal services, particularly in areas involving property-related matters and private wealth disputes.
    Please note: This is primarily an office-based role, and candidates should ideally live within a commutable distance of Exeter.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

This role is ideal for someone with strong legal secretarial experience who thrives in a varied and fast-paced environment. You’ll be supporting lawyers across multiple teams, including those handling complex property issues and high-value private wealth disputes.

In this role you’ll:

  • Deliver proactive administrative and secretarial support to lawyers across the team.
  • Coordinate diaries, travel, and meetings to ensure smooth scheduling and preparation.
  • Manage matter openings, ID checks, and compliance tasks in line with internal and regulatory standards.
  • Assist with property transactions, including conducting searches and liaising with the Land Registry.
  • Draft, format, and maintain legal documents, correspondence, and templates.
  • Support financial processes such as billing, expenses, and credit control.
  • Handle calls and correspondence professionally, acting as a key point of contact for clients.
  • Contribute to business development through client research, event coordination, and marketing support.
  • Occasionally travel to our Bristol office (expenses covered) to support cross-office collaboration.
  • Play an active role in team operations, with opportunities to grow into a Lead LSA or supervisory role.
