What are you going to do?
As a Legal Tech consultant at Forcyd, you’ll immerse yourself in the world of digital investigation and evidence gathering. You’ll be working on high-profile cases that you might know from the news – like major fraud investigations, cartel formation, or big corruption cases. Your mission? To find the ‘smoking gun’ – the crucial document or email that can make or break a case. Your work starts at the source: securing digital data. You’ll seize laptops, smartphones, and other devices, extracting all relevant information to begin your digital detective work. Using advanced software and your own technical expertise, you’ll sift through and analyse vast amounts of data to uncover the key evidence that lawyers or companies are searching for.
But you’re not just a digital detective. If you’re interested, you could also step into the role of a cyber troubleshooter. When a client is hit by a hack or data breach, such as the University of Maastricht hack, you’ll spring into action. You’ll dive into the technical details to track the hacker’s movements. How did they get in? What data was stolen? What are the immediate risks? In these crisis situations, when a whole business is brought to a standstill, you’re the one who brings order to the chaos.
Alongside these exciting client projects, you’ll also work on internal initiatives to develop both yourself and the company. At Forcyd, you’ll have the opportunity to grow rapidly in a field that’s constantly evolving!

Forcyd is a young entrepreneurial club specializing in digital forensics. We do this in three services: eDiscovery, Document Review and Cyber Forensics. We help our clients address their most complex fraud, litigation and data breach issues. We provide long-term solutions and are often called upon for urgent matters.
We have been around for 5 years and work from Amsterdam, Brussels, London and Frankfurt. We like short lines and fast switching. With us you get a lot of responsibility and there is plenty of room to learn!

The Development Program
When you start with us, we will prepare you for your role in a 4-week bootcamp! By providing substantive training, we ensure that you quickly develop into a true Legal Tech consultant. After the bootcamp you will continue to develop yourself in our two-year development program! This is a development program that you follow together with other (young) professionals. The program consists of coaching, intervision with your training group and training focused on personal and professional skills.
Who are we looking for?
You have a study background in law, criminology, cybersecurity or any other relevant study;
0-3 years of work experience;
You have an interest in and affinity for data, analytics and IT, but also Law and forensic science
Because we often work with sensitive information, it is important that you have integrity, tactical and environmental awareness;
You are an expert in processing a lot of information and you like to work in a problem-solving way;
You are analytically strong and work accurately;
You are fluent in English and one other language: German/French/Spanish/Italian/Danish/Dutch.

A salary of €3,300.00 per month, including 8% holiday allowance and a 13th month, both paid annually.
