Job Description

ABOUT YOU

We are looking for a technology enthusiast who loves all things innovation and tech; you just can’t get enough!
You may currently be or have worked in the legal industry as a personal assistant, or even on the IT Help Desk, helping solve all those pesky queries from employees! You may even have experience as an IT Trainer in a law firm.
You know how to develop simple, quick solutions utilising the current Microsoft 365 suite and you love scanning the market for new innovations.
You find yourself often providing troubleshooting and technical and practical internal support in relation to legal applications and systems.
You have a natural ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines and foresee future requirements. You can quickly and aptly build relationships with all people at all levels with your great communication and stakeholder management skills. You are adaptable and have an aptitude for being curious and challenging the status quo.
Experience in or understanding of law firm applications and systems such as Salesforce, iManage, document automation software, management of virtualised environments, and use of Microsoft Office integrations and add-ins would be highly desired. Knowledge of simple coding and syntax in SQL, Visual Basic, and Python would also be valuable, as would a high-level understanding of the responsible use of various AI models.

Responsibilities

The primary responsibility of this role is to support the Digital Transformation team, bringing innovation, automation and process improvement to the firm and our clients. Helping us drive efficiency and building opportunities to transform our business and operating environment.
Supporting the Digital Transformation Advisor, you will work closely with the Digital Projects Administrator, Practice Groups, Business Operations teams, project teams, vendors and our outsourced IT provider, to help identify, scope and implement new solutions, being the conduit between our teams and technology solutions.

No day will be the same, and you will enjoy a variety of tasks and responsibilities which may include:

  • Coordination of quality control and consistency of firm-wide applications and software solutions
  • Data analysis, diagnosis and remediation of issues or improvements
  • Developing in-house solutions using simple code and automation tools
  • Project assistance including research, analysis, planning and implementation
  • Assisting training and knowledge sharing to ensure there is a network of understanding across the firm.
