We are hiring a full-time Legal Virtual Assistant to assisting the Head of Business Affairs with the drafting of a variety of contracts for artists and writers, including sync licences and third party agreements, as well as amendments, side letters, extensions, etc. Responsibilities Negotiating, drafting and finalising agreements (including recording/publishing/third party/sync/NDAs). Drafting & amending boilerplates Keeping an up to date legal database of signed agreements, maintaining options diaries, advances and other contract management documentation and systems. Answering contractual queries from internal departments and third parties in relation to all Hospital and Songs In The Key Of Knife executed agreements and licences Disseminating deal points and information to other departments within the organisation Setting up recording & publishing deals on Curve & RightsHub Other ad hoc duties that may arise from time to time. To represent the interests of Hospital Records Ltd to the highest standards of professionalism and integrity in all business activities. To comply with current revisions of Hospital Records’ internal policies, procedures and guidelines including Health & safety, sustainability and Equity, Diversity & Inclusion Strong legal experience, particularly in contract drafting and negotiation Comfortable independently reviewing, drafting, and finalising agreements Solid foundational knowledge of contract law and commercial terms Music law and copyright experience preferred (but not essential) Ability to quickly learn music industry–specific legal frameworks Strong attention to detail and confidence handling agreements autonomously Ability to work from 9 AM to 5 PM GMT Work From Home Flexible Hours
