Aleph Alpha is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Legal Working Student (m/f/d) to support our legal team in maintaining internal documentation, optimizing processes, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a dynamic team while gaining hands-on experience in legal operations within a fast-paced tech environment. Your responsibilities: Maintain, update, and organize internal legal documentation, templates, and contracts. Develop and implement process improvements for legal workflows and document management. Review and verify contract documents for accuracy, ensuring alignment with regulatory standards. Support compliance activities by monitoring legal and regulatory changes and communicating updates to internal stakeholders. Assist with legal operations, including tracking deadlines, managing communications with stakeholders, and organizing internal legal resources. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide innovative solutions to legal and organizational challenges. Experienced candidates may also support with legal research and tasks, among others, in IP, IT, data protection, corporate and civil laws. Your profile: • Currently enrolled in a law degree program (Staatsexamen, bachelor’s, or master’s) for the next 6+ months. • Solid understanding of various legal domains (e.g., corporate, contract, IP, data protection law). • Proficiency in both English and German (C1). • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office/Google Workspace (Excel, PowerPoint, Word). • Detail-oriented, highly organized, and capable of managing multiple tasks reliably. • Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset. • Commitment to discretion and reliability when handling confidential information.
