Job Description Legionella Risk Assessor Permanent | 40 hours per week | Field-Based Salary: £30,000–£35,000 + Bonus Company Vehicle Provided We are excited to offer an excellent opportunity for an experienced Legionella Risk Assessor to join our global organisation. This is a key field-based role where you’ll carry out risk assessments and essential water hygiene tasks across a wide variety of building types and water systems, helping ensure safe and compliant environments for our clients. What You’ll Be Doing Conduct comprehensive Legionella risk assessments on domestic hot and cold water systems. Complete a range of water hygiene activities, including temperature monitoring, water sampling, TMV servicing, and showerhead descaling. Identify and escalate unusual or concerning results for further investigation. Produce clear, accurate and high‑quality reports, including proofreading your own work and supporting colleagues when required. Liaise professionally with clients to provide updates, advice, and guidance. Maintain tools, equipment, and consumables—reporting any issues promptly. Ensure all assessment data is uploaded accurately to our digital project management system. What We’re Looking For Proven experience in Legionella risk assessments and water hygiene duties. Confident using handheld digital devices for data capture and reporting. Strong understanding of water systems and relevant industry regulations. Ability to complete risk assessments across a variety of properties and system types. High attention to detail and excellent communication skills. Qualifications Essential Qualifications (one or more of the following): BOHS proficiency module certificates (P901 minimum, P903, P904) or City & Guilds equivalent (WH004). Water Management Society Risk Assessor Course. Ofqual nationally regulated Level 3 diploma in Legionella risk assessment.
