POSITION SUMMARY:

We are seeking a highly organized and energetic Construction Supervisor to join our team. This role functions as an Assistant Manager, supporting the Store Manager with day-to-day operations and leading team members in delivering exceptional customer experiences. In addition to traditional retail management duties, you will play a hands-on role in building LEGO® kits, overseeing in-store projects, and ensuring our merchandising and backroom areas are top-notch.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 2+ years of retail, customer service, or supervisory experience
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to direct, motivate, and coach a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities
  • Comfortable working in a creative, hands-on retail environment
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and occasional evenings
  • Enthusiasm for hobby, toy or LEGO® products or related activities and the ability to share that passion with customers (experience with LEGO® building is a plus)!

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 40 lbs during a shift
  • Comfortable working on your feet in a busy retail setting

Responsibilities
  • Assist the Store Manager in running daily operations, including opening and closing the store
  • Lead and inspire team members by setting direction, priorities, and follow-up on tasks
  • Provide outstanding customer service—greeting guests, answering questions, and assisting with purchases or trades
  • Oversee LEGO® kit building, project assembly, and quality control for in-store and event builds
  • Manage merchandising—ensuring displays are well-stocked, creative, and on brand
  • Maintain organization and cleanliness of backroom and work areas
  • Support the trade-in process by evaluating, organizing, and preparing incoming products
  • Help coordinate and occasionally facilitate birthday parties and in-store events
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist in receiving and processing shipments
  • Uphold store policies and contribute to a positive, team-focused work environment
