You will empower residents to live healthier, more independent lives while building meaningful connections. Leveraging your exceptional communication and organisational abilities, you will collaborate with staff, residents, families, and the wider VMCH community to shape tailored support services. Your insights will help identify evolving needs and guide care plan adjustments, ensuring every resident receives the best possible care. Key responsibilities: * Plan and run group and individual activities (arts, music, outings, exercise, games). * Support residents’ emotional, spiritual, and cultural needs. * Collaborate with care staff, volunteers, and families. * Maintain records and contribute to care planning. About you You are an effective communicator who enjoys working in a collaborative, fun and team environment. A patient personality, you take initiative and demonstrate self-motivation to promote a positive lifestyle environment. In addition to your experience in a similar role, you will also possess the following: * Current First Aid and CPR Certificate * Certificate IV Leisure and Health, or equivalent * Well-developed prioritisation and organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines * Ability to work without supervision While aged care or disability service experience would be great, what is more important is that you want to help to make a difference to our customers and prospective customers lives.
