The Leisure team are responsible for the operation of our recently opened thermal suite, modern gym, spin studio, all weather tennis court, ten pin bowling alley and Spa lounge offering brunch, lunch, smoothies and snacks.

LEISURE ASSISTANT FULL TIME:

We are currently recruiting for enthusiastic and energetic people to join our Leisure Team on a casual basis. This is ideal for someone looking for flexible hours and working patterns, maybe as a second job or at weekends or outside of college hours.
It is an exciting time to join our team as you will be involved in promoting and operating our new spa alongside numerous leisure facilities, in a market that is vibrant and exciting. This role would suit someone with an interest in health and wellbeing and for the right candidate, there are rewards and a career progression path with a company that is dynamic and forward thinking.
Reporting to the Wellness Centre Manager and working closely with the Spa salon team, it is important that this person brings a professional work ethic, a ‘can-do’ attitude, enthusiasm, motivation and reliability.
Full training on all systems, health & safety and operating procedures will be provided, and although previous experience in a similar role would be beneficial, it is not essential.

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Completing all facility and equipment checks, record data and take required actions, if necessary, as per company procedures
  • Ensure all faults / defects / breakdowns are recorded and reported
  • Complete pool water tests and air / water temperature checks
  • Monitor and keeping clean all areas across the department including the thermal suite, changing rooms, gym, reception and Spa lounge.

DUTIES

  • Respond to guest enquiries
  • Take new and manage existing guest bookings
  • Manage club membership
  • Serving customers
  • Complete all daily and weekly duties within the Spa and Fitness Suite
  • Monitor all areas of the facility where and when necessary, report any defects
  • Keeping all areas clean, safe and tidy
  • Make sure all services are keep supplied and in working order
  • Assist in the organising and promotion of all social events
  • Follow lost property procedures daily
  • Ensure opening and closing procedures are strictly followed
  • Any other duties deemed necessary by Management
