We are currently recruiting a Full Time Leisure Club Supervisor who is very passionate about customer service and the fitness industry.

THE PERSON:

This role may suit an experienced leisure centre attendant looking for the next step on the ladder as well as to develop their knowledge and skills. Candidates must have the following qualifications:

  • Fully qualified and certified Gym Instructor
  • Fully qualified and certified Lifeguard
  • Certified in First Aid
  • Certified Pool Plant Room operator - desirable but not essential
Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • As a supervisor you will be a role model, sharing your expertise and continually inspiring the Leisure team.
  • Supervise the operations of the Leisure department to ensure an optimal level of service and hospitality is provided to the guests & members.
  • To work as directed and assist and advise the Leisure Centre Manager in the continual improvement of the facility while ensure that all requirements under Health and Safety are met.
  • To address within own scope of responsibility, all product and process failures, and to report the same directly to the Leisure Centre Manager in a timely manner.
  • To operate and be accountable for, the Point of Sale and Booking System and ensure that all potential sales and membership enquiries are maximised and accounted for while on duty.
  • To be accountable for and ensure that the cleaning of all areas is carried out as per schedule while on duty.
  • To conduct / teach swim Lesson and all other fitness related classes as directed on a daily basis.
  • Directly responsible and accountable for all retail P.O.S Stock while on duty. (when trained)
  • To design and promote revenue generating, and social, programmes for customers of the facility.
  • To assist the centre manager in the continual site-specific training of other staff on the leisure team, water safety, operations, and health and safety.
  • Completing a wide range of administrative and operational tasks as assigned for time to time.
  • To Communicate effectively within the Leisure Club team as per (S.O. P’s leisure)
