• Responsibility for the planning, control and optimization of strategic and operational purchasing processes in line with company objectives (needs analysis, budget planning, development of procurement strategies)
• Selection, evaluation and development of suppliers, including further development of a high-performing supplier portfolio
• Conducting complex contract negotiations (price, terms and conditions and framework agreement negotiations) and ensuring optimal contract design
• Continuous analysis of procurement markets and derivation of measures to minimize costs and risks.
• Leadership and development of the purchasing team (defining goals, distributing tasks, performance evaluation, promoting qualification and collaboration)
• Ensuring efficient processes in strategic and operational purchasing

• Completed business administration studies (university/university of applied sciences) or equivalent qualification
• Several years of professional and management experience as a responsible buyer in the industrial sector with an international focus
• A cooperative leadership style with the right balance between goal-oriented assertiveness and motivating support.
• A team player with strong social skills who fosters a culture of mutual trust and personal responsibility.
• Experience with ERP and management information systems
• Confident use of MS Office 
• Good English skills
• Quick comprehension, independent and precise work ethic
• Flexible, resilient, sociable
