Description

Our offer to you:

Our employees are our most valuable asset. As a company, it is important to us that our employees feel comfortable, can identify with Hoppecke, and enjoy working for us.

  • We therefore offer you a safe and modern working environment in a company that constantly faces new challenges, thus providing a workplace that is both varied and interesting.
  • In addition, we will equip you with modern work tools and mobile IT equipment.
  • To give you maximum flexibility in your free time, we offer a flexitime model, allowing you to arrange your working hours flexibly. This way, you can manage everything effectively.
  • In addition to 30 days of vacation and attractive compensation, we offer numerous benefits such as private pension plans, employee stock ownership plans, vacation pay, Christmas bonus, and an annual performance bonus. Furthermore, we provide a subsidized cafeteria, bike leasing, a comprehensive health program (including EGYM), an on-site charging station for electric vehicles, and much, much more.
  • We also take excellent care of your personal development. In our in-house HOPPECKE Academy, you have the opportunity to develop both personally and professionally.

These are your tasks:

For our Rail division, we are looking for a results-oriented and assertive Head of Supply Chain Management (m/f/d) who will independently drive the end-to-end management of our supply chain across our locations. Yes, we mean you!

  • You manage the entire supply chain holistically – production and delivery planning, operational procurement, internal plant logistics and shipping logistics across all locations.
  • You stabilize and standardize our processes and sustainably embed Lean and SAP standards in our daily business.
  • You consistently manage via KPIs – with a clear focus on OTD, DIO and missing parts – and drive disciplined action management.
  • You lead and develop your teams in a multi-site structure and coordinate the interfaces to production, purchasing, quality, sales and technology.
  • You ensure inventory and material availability across all locations and establish regular shop floor and management reviews.

This is what we expect from you:

Our goal is to deliver outstanding performance. That's why we employ exceptional people with great passion, heart, and intelligence.

  • You have a completed degree in industrial engineering, business administration with a focus on logistics/SCM or a comparable qualification as well as several years of experience in SCM and management in an industrial environment.
  • Lean Management is more than a method for you – you actively exemplify Lean principles in SCM, sustainably embed them in processes and teams, and ideally bring demonstrable Lean or Six Sigma qualifications or relevant project experience.
  • You have a solid command of SAP MM/PP – including planning, scheduling, MRP, and master data maintenance – and ideally have in-depth experience as a key user or in customizing.
  • With your experience in KPI management (OTD, DIO, missing parts), you drive sustainable performance improvements and are thoroughly familiar with the IRIS-relevant process requirements.
  • You have already worked with global supply chains and actively managed risk and escalation management, using your presentation-ready German and English skills.
  • As a change-oriented, results-oriented leader, you impress with strong stakeholder management, coaching skills in multi-site teams, and a hands-on mentality with a strategic eye.
