Job Description Colliers is looking for a Lenders Independent Engineer (LIE) to independently monitor project progress, costs, quality, and risks on behalf of lenders and investors. Key Responsibilities Review project designs, drawings, specifications, and statutory approvals Assess constructability, project scope, and technical risks Review schedules, budgets, BOQs, and cost estimates Conduct site inspections and verify physical progress Monitor compliance with approved schedule, budget, and quality standards Review variations, claims, and contractor/developer bills Track risks, delays, contingency usage, and cost overruns Reconcile disbursements and validate cost/cashflow reports Prepare lender monitoring reports and drawdown certificates Preferred candidate profile 3-5 years' experience in real estate projects Strong knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, and cost management Understanding of bylaws, NBC, NFPA, RPwD Prior experience in project monitoring or technical advisory preferred Excellent reporting and communication skills Why Join Colliers?
