This position serves as a liaison between Branch Operations, dealerships, members, and other third-party partners to obtain required title documents and remedy outstanding collateral items. The Lending Clerk processes and secures lien perfection for both in-state and out-of-state transactions, obtains lien releases, and maintains documentation necessary to ensure collateral integrity.  Essential Job Functions: * Focus on Purpose/Mission: Focuses on the Credit Union's Purpose and Mission Statement of creating financial wellness in our community through personal, everyday banking. * Engaged Communication and Collaboration: Ensure that engagement between coworkers and members is meaningful, with a focus on listening to learn and offering high-quality solutions. Ensures core processes, policies, and procedures are followed.   Key Accountabilities: * Document & Collateral Integrity Management * Title Tracking and Lien Placement * Compliance/Regulatory Processes * Scorecard Performance   Requirements: * A minimum education of a high school diploma or GED. * 1–2 years of previous Credit Union/banking experience in the lending field, specifically knowledge of titles, preferred.   The Ideal Candidate: * Experience with loan documentation, collateral requirements, and lien processing preferred. * Ability to provide courteous, knowledgeable, and professional customer service both in person and on the telephone.  * Strong skills operating a personal computer, including Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, and navigating the internet.  * Ability to perform accurate data input into a variety of software.  * Ability to take initiative, work independently, exercise good judgment, and manage multiple tasks while meeting deadlines with minimal supervision.   * Excellent written and verbal communication skills.     NOTE:  The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this classification.
