Description Job Title: Lending Coordinator Department: Indirect Lending Reports To: Team Lead, Indirect Lending FLSA Status: Non-exempt Prepared Date: April 11, 2025 Grade: 7 Location: Onsite (350 Salem Turnpike) SUMMARY Under the direction of the Team Lead, Indirect Lending in conformance with established Credit Union policies and procedures, the Lending Coordinator will be the main point of contact for dealerships regarding funding. The individual will be responsible for processing Indirect lending applications and performing related administrative duties. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for overseeing the daily funding operation of Indirect lending, ensuring timely and accurate loan disbursements. Reviews loan packages and determines steps necessary to complete processing and funding in an accurate and timely manner. Process and oversee dealer reserve chargebacks and execute dealer reserve and loan disbursements. Builds and maintains a good rapport with the existing dealers of the indirect program. Correspond with dealers to obtain all necessary contracts and other required documentation to eliminate funding delays quickly and efficiently. The position requires attention to detail and the ability to multitask to maintain service levels for funding turn-times. Responsible for providing reports based on daily indirect funded loans. Continually engage with Loan Operations regarding indirect quality control concerns. Responsible for addressing any quality control issues and providing resolutions. Keeps up to date on the automobile industry through the reading of trade publications of automobile values and news affecting the industry. Responsible for compliance with the following regulations: BSA, OFAC, and other regulations as required Promotes other Credit Union services and products as appropriate. Remain in compliance with the Credit Union policies, procedures, and regulations. Other duties as assigned. A.) from four-year college or university, two to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Ability to analyze Federal tax returns. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Basic understanding of NCUA and other applicable operating regulations, and various changes in laws.
