JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Lending Manager to oversee our lending operations for our regional branch in Los Angeles. We are a retail direct lending operation, with the capacity to broker loans as well. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial services, with expertise in loan origination, processing, and compliance with regulations such as TILA. As a Lending Manager, you will lead a team of loan servicing professionals and ensure that all lending activities are conducted efficiently and the pipeline is managed seamlessly.

• Manage the loan origination process from application to closing, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
• Supervise and mentor loan officers, providing guidance on best practices for loan processing and customer service.
• Review and approve loan applications, assessing creditworthiness and financial stability of applicants.
• Ensure accurate documentation of contracts and maintain organized records of all transactions.
• Collaborate with other departments to streamline the lending process and improve customer satisfaction.
• Review pipeline bottlenecks & strategize improvements and best practices for an efficient work flow across departments and teams.
• Utilize financial software for tracking loans, generating reports, and analyzing lending data.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, regulations, and best practices in lending.
