About the Role
As a Capability Specialist – Lending you will play a crucial role in ensuring that BOQ Group team members have the knowledge, skills, and accreditations required to excel in their roles.
You will work closely with the broader Banker Capability team to provide a wide range of learning solutions tailored to the training needs across the Retail Bank, particularly in home and commercial lending.
Your role will involve designing, developing, and maintaining training materials, as well as delivering both in-person and digital classroom programs. You should possess technical lending skills, demonstrate engaging facilitation techniques, and have well-developed internal consulting abilities. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, along with an understanding of training needs analysis and methodologies. Being tech-savvy and able to explore new technologies to support the design and delivery of engaging learning experiences is highly desirable. Additionally, having a keen eye for design and the ability to create visually appealing and effective training materials will be a significant advantage.
Key attributes for this role include resilience, adaptability to change, an outcome-focused mindset, resourcefulness, and proactive information-seeking. You should have superior organisational skills, the ability to coach others and model desirable behaviours, and excellent judgement and decision-making skills, knowing when to consult with key stakeholders.
