Through the merger of Bank Australia and Qudos Bank we’re creating a better, stronger and more resilient bank for our customers and employees. As one company with two trusted brands, we’re building on the strong foundations of our history and shared values as we bring together the best of both banks.
The Lending Specialist is responsible for delivering efficient and accurate member service across a range of relationship management functions, with a strong focus on identifying and fulfilling lending needs. Through face-to-face and phone interactions, the role supports customers by understanding their financial situations, offering tailored solutions, and actively cross-selling Qudos Bank products. A commitment to exceptional customer service and professional branch operations is essential to enhancing member experience and driving business growth.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver end-to-end lending support, including home loan conversations, application processing, and compliance with lending principles.
  • Build strong relationships with customers and stakeholders through effective communication and a customer-first approach.
  • Actively manage a portfolio of customers, uncovering their financial needs through in-depth conversations and tailored solutions.
  • Assist members across multiple channels with lending enquiries, document preparation, valuations, credit checks, and loan funding.
  • Promote Qudos Bank products and services, making outbound calls and recording sales pipeline activity to follow up future opportunities.
  • Support branch operations by achieving lending targets, maintaining service standards, and ensuring accurate cash and digital banking transactions.
  • Use technology such as video conferencing to meet with customers and manage documentation efficiently.
  • Maintain compliance with internal policies, statutory requirements, and complete all required training within designated timeframes.
  • Contribute to a safe and inclusive workplace by reporting WHS incidents and participating in continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Perform additional duties as directed by Management.
