We are looking for a Lending Specialist to provide phone-based support and assistance to our customers with all their lending enquiries and applications. You’ll work individually but also as part of a wider team, where you will be supported by your peers and leaders. The key to your success will be placing a high importance on assessing and supporting the customer’s individual needs, adding value to their experience, and maintaining exceptional levels of customer service.

Responsibilities
  • Assists customers and prospective members with all home loan and lending enquiries across multiple channels
  • Record and manage sales pipeline activity and actively follow up on future opportunities and referrals
  • Preparation, ordering valuations and completing credit checks as well as funding credits and unsecured overdrafts
  • Support the Contact Centre Lending team to achieve Lending Sales, Service and operational outcomes
  • Actively cross-sell products and services and undertake retention activities for customers across the portfolio of products
  • Monitor, analyse and report on key business metrics for the team
  • Deliver a high level of service to members through inbound and outbound call handling
