As a Lending Specialist, you will take full ownership of the client lending consultation process, from financial prequalification through funding strategy execution. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Drive and lead client lending consultations with precision and professionalism

  • Own the prequalification process—evaluate risk and deliver clear funding recommendations
  • Communicate outcomes decisively to clients, consultants, and referral partners with speed and accuracy
  • Educate stakeholders on SBA and conventional lending policies, eligibility, and timelines
  • Maintain strong, proactive relationships with brokers, franchisors, lenders, and internal teams
  • Deliver difficult messages (e.g., denials, ineligibility) tactfully, with poise and professionalism
  • Collaborate with internal lending operations to ensure smooth documentation handoffs
  • Track all client engagement meticulously in the CRM and maintain clean, audit-ready records
  • Handle refund decisions for clients based on the prequalification assessments you conduct
