JOB SUMMARY

The Center for the Study of Complex Systems is seeking applications for a LEO Lecturer I position 66.67% effort teaching CMPLXSYS 270 and CMPLXSYS 391. The responsibilities will include teaching lectures, coordinating GSIs, general course communication/support, and holding office hours. The appointment is for Fall Term 2025 only (August 25 - December 8, 2025).
Terms and conditions of employment for this position as posted are subject to the provisions of a Collective Bargaining Agreement between the University of Michigan and the Lecturers Employee Organization.
The anticipated schedule for the Fall term is listed below:

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS*

The candidate must hold a Ph.D. in Complex Systems or a closely related field and be knowledgeable in the topics covered in the courses CMPLXSYS 270 and 391 at the University of Michigan.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS*

Qualified candidates should be fluent in the area of expertise and exhibit evidence of excellent teaching skills.
