Torpedo Marketing is an innovative and forward-thinking organization devoted to our staff, clients and community. We are a full-service marketing/ communications company specializing in designing and executing direct marketing campaigns including direct mail, data, print, design, fulfillment, online marketing and web projects.
We currently have an opportunity to add another full-time member to our bindery and letter shop team for folding, inserting, ink jetting, clip-sealing, poly bagging and other general bindery / lettershop jobs.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Highly organized, detail-oriented with strong time management capabilities
  • Must have good communication skills and able to take direction well to complete tasks
  • Physical manual labor required, must be able to lift up to 35 lbs., within safe work guidelines
  • Use manual and electric pump trucks
  • Experience with Canada Post & USPS mailing standards and categories is an asset
  • Willingness and ability to train, cross train, and develop in a team environment
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to multitask and deal with frequent changes in production plan
  • Teamwork is crucial, and the successful candidate must come with a “get it done attitude”
  • Must wear safety shoes in the plant environment

Responsibilities
  • Assist in running jobs on inserters, folders, inkjetters, polybaggers
  • Assist with sorting, bundling in fulfillment/letter shop environment
  • Assist with manual work as required
  • Follow instructions on job docket using key information for job operations
  • Complete jobs scheduled for the assigned equipment according to the work orders and job dockets within the established time frames for each job
  • Monitor and maintain warehouse inventory
  • Report to Production Manager
  • Ensure adherence to QC policies and procedures, and all safety standards
  • Other duties may be required
