Description

Hamways Property Management is a residential property management company, based in Oxted & North London, with approximately 80 staff. We look after a variety of homes in London & the Home Counties covering all facets of residential management.
Hours of work: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9am to 530pm
Employment Type: Full time – Maternity Leave Cover (minimum 12 months)
Location: West Hampstead
Salary: £25k - £30k DOE
This is a very exciting opportunity to join a dynamic, very large & stable property investment company.
Based out of our prestigious London offices, you will play an important role within an existing team, bridging the gap between our busy West Hampstead hub and head office in Surrey, reporting directly to the Head of Lettings.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year recent lettings experience with a reputable firm
  • IT literate with strong understanding of Excel/Outlook and general lettings IT technology

Key areas of responsibility:

  • Acting as the first point of contact, taking calls from applicants and tenants and dealing with queries
  • Booking viewings & inspections for negotiators where possible or passing on applicant details to the relevant negotiator in order for them to book directly.
  • Editing property descriptions (having an eye for detail), adding properties to the marketing portals and updating the database with current status
  • Looking after keys for properties - sending out to agents/engineers/inventory companies
  • Confirming deposits received for properties, preparing and sending out all required documentation to applicants/tenants
  • Lettings progression - Requesting & chasing references, ensuring all necessary documents have been prepared for move in
  • Occasionally going out with lettings negotiators in order to be able to provide cover for them during holidays and busy periods.
  • Ad hoc tasks as required.

Objectives:
To provide maternity leave cover in our administration team. Ensure that the properties are presented online perfectly & help field and direct enquiries. Process change of sharer requests in a timely manner. Provide exceptional customer service, resulting in excellent relations between us & our tenants. Assist the negotiators in the London office with ad hoc tasks as required, maybe leading to help provide cover for them too during holidays. Become a reliable team member, bridging the gap between our two offices to help ensure successful team function.
