Description:
As Letting Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and growing our new letting department from the ground up. You’ll manage the entire letting process, develop keyrelationships, and drive revenue growth while ensuring the highest levels of customer satisfaction. SKILL REQUIREMENTS
- Proven experience in a property letting or estate agency role (Preferably in Student and HMO Property Market)
- Industry Qualification: AARLA, MARLA / FARLA (Preferred)
- Leadership experience is a plus
- Strong understanding of the property market in the Midlands
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage with clients professionally.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and results-oriented mindset.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Familiarity with property management systems and tools is advantageous.
- Administrative skills to handle paperwork accurately and efficiently.
- Must hold a Full UK Driving License with access to own vehicle
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to launch and grow the letting department.
- Source and manage property portfolios to ensure a consistent supply of quality listings.
- Build and maintain relationships with landlords, tenants, and key stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant property laws and regulations.
- Set and achieve ambitious revenue and performance targets.
- Lead and mentor a growing team, fostering a positive and high-performing culture.
- Utilise market trends and data to identify opportunities for growth.
- Manage administrative tasks such as preparing contracts, conducting background checks, and maintaining client records.
- Conduct viewings of properties, showcasing their features and benefits.
- Negotiate agreements, agree lets & progress let’s through to exchange and completion.
- Create and build your own team as the business grows to help you flourish in the position.
