We’re now looking for an organised, confident Property Manager to help us care for our growing lettings portfolio from our Kendal office.

We are looking for a proactive, approachable and well organised individual who can maintain high standards of service and has a can do attitude.

SKILLS

  • Previous experience in residential lettings/property management is desirable.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to engage effectively with clients and tenants.
  • Good knowledge of lettings legislation (or keen to learn).
  • Proficient in administrative tasks, demonstrating strong organisational abilities.
  • Exceptional attention to detail to maintain accurate records.
  • Ability to work efficiently in an office environment while managing multiple priorities.
  • Problem solving skills
  • A full UK driving licence and use of your own vehicle (essential).

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

You’ll be the main point of contact for landlords and tenants, delivering excellent service and making sure every property in your portfolio is well-managed, compliant, and cared for.

DAY TO DAY DUTIES

  • Managing a varied portfolio of properties.
  • Oversee the marketing of properties, including conducting viewings and negotiating tenancy agreements.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing tenant inquiries and resolving issues promptly to enhance tenant satisfaction.
  • Organising compliance certificates and dealing with maintenance issues quickly and efficiently.
  • Building strong relationships with landlords, tenants and contractors.
  • Using various software for managing property, listings, tenant applications, and maintenance.
  • Arranging appointments to ensure a seamless transition for tenants moving in or out of properties.
  • Maintain accurate data entry for all tenant records, ensuring that information is up-to-date and accessible.
  • Conduct regular training sessions.
  • Working as part of a supportive and dedicated team.
