We are currently hiring for two key field roles to support our growing operations in the GTA.

1. SAMPLER – GEOTECHNICAL BOREHOLE DRILLING

We’re looking for a field-ready Sampler to assist with geotechnical borehole drilling.

2. QUALITY ASSURANCE (QA) TECHNICIAN

We are seeking a reliable and detail-driven Quality Assurance Technician to conduct on-site testing and quality control for geotechnical and construction projects.

Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Collect and log soil/rock samples during drilling (SPT, Shelby tubes, core barrels, etc.)
· Describe soils using USCS and record groundwater data
· Label, preserve, and transport samples to labs
· Follow health, safety, and environmental protocols
· Maintain clear field notes and daily reports

RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Perform field sampling and in-situ testing of construction materials (e.g., soil compaction, concrete slump, air, temperature, asphalt density)
· Inspect and verify that materials and construction practices meet project specifications and regulatory requirements
· Complete and maintain accurate test records and QA reports
· Calibrate and maintain testing equipment and follow QA/QC protocols
· Report non-conformances and assist in root cause analysis and corrective actions
· Communicate findings with site supervisors, engineers, and project managers

QUALIFICATIONS (FOR BOTH ROLES):

· College Diploma in Civil, Geotechnical, or Environmental Engineering (or related disciplines)
· Willingness to work extended hours and in outdoor or remote field conditions
· Physically fit and safety-conscious
· Eligible or registered as a CET (preferred)
· Familiarity with soil classification, drilling methods, and QA testing standards is an asset
· CCIL certification in concrete testing is an asset
· Previous experience working in Ontario construction or geotechnical projects is a plus
· Valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle with a clean driving record
