Description
Job Title: Level 2 Maintenance- Semiskilled Responsible for the fabrication, assembly, and repair of jigs, fixtures, templates, and other tooling related to the production of mobile elevated work platforms based on blueprints and specifications. Assist higher-level maintenance by completing basic repairs and preventative maintenance tasks. Job duties will evolve as skills develop. Performance Expectations Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications for jigs, fixtures, and tools. Fabricate jigs, fixtures, and tooling based on engineering data and designs. Perform preventative maintenance on jigs, fixtures, and automation cells. Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and issues. Conduct preventative maintenance on machines, including paint mix, paint ovens, air make-ups, cranes, and water coolers. Work safely at heights. Obtain required in-house training (mobile elevating work platform). Perform additional duties as assigned. Credentials Completion of a high school degree. Working towards or completion of a recognized trades program is considered an asset. Desired Characteristics Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment. Industrial paint and automation experience is an asset. Strong knowledge of tooling and machining processes. Tool room, metal fabrication, or welding experience is an asset. Ability to take projects from concept to completion. Familiarity with industry concepts and procedures.
