Job Description: Job Title: Level 2 Network Operations Analyst About the Role At DXC Technology, we use the power of technology to deliver mission-critical IT services that move the world. As a Level 2 Network Operations Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the stability and performance of our clients’ network environments. You’ll lead technical investigations, drive proactive monitoring, and support continuous service improvement in a fast-paced, multi-vendor ecosystem. You will have a close relationship with our L1 technicians who provide 24x7, 365 days a year support. This role will require the availability to work rotating shifts between 7am and 11pm as part of this support. Australian citizenship is mandatory. Key Responsibilities Proactively monitor and analyze network performance and health Serve as technical lead during Severity 1 and 2 incidents Participate in Change and Emergency Work Order (EWO) review boards Implement approved network changes and enhancements Drive problem management and root cause analysis (RCA) initiatives Execute IMAC (Install, Move, Add, Change) activities Investigate, diagnose, and validate escalated incidents What We’re Looking For Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Information Technology or related field 3–5 years of experience in networking or network operations Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills Experience working in a multi-vendor environment Familiarity with ITIL processes and service management frameworks CCNA certification required; CCNP or CIPE certification is a plus Technical Proficiency Comprehensive understanding of Cisco networking devices, including Meraki Advanced knowledge of Palto Alto. Responsibilities
The analyst will proactively monitor network health, serve as the technical lead during major incidents, and participate in change review boards. Key duties also include implementing approved network changes, driving problem management, and executing Install, Move, Add, Change (IMAC) activities.
