Born in 2011 from the needs of our sister company and racing team, Greaves Motorsport, Greaves 3D Engineering was founded to fill a gap in the market. When we couldn’t find pit equipment that met our high standards, we began designing and manufacturing our own—drawing on our team’s deep expertise in motorsport engineering.
Today, Greaves 3D Engineering designs and manufactures world-class pit lane equipment for elite motorsport teams across the globe, including those in Formula 1, endurance racing, IndyCar, and many more.

Responsibilities

By the end of the apprenticeship

  • Reading and understanding technical drawings and blueprints to support accurate fabrication
  • Measuring, marking, and preparing materials using industry-standard tools
  • Assisting with cutting, shaping, and forming materials such as metal or plastic using manual and power tools
  • Supporting welding and joining processes, including MIG and TIG welding, under supervision
  • Helping assemble components and structures based on design specifications
  • Learning to operate fabrication machinery and equipment safely and efficiently
  • Carrying out basic finishing tasks.
