SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

• Level 3 Arboricultural qualification.
• Excellent Tree Identification.
• Knowledge of tree health, pests and diseases.
• Knowledge of tree physiology and risk management.
• Ability to work independently and travel to various locations across our operational footprint.
• Strong IT knowledge and experience.
• Strong communication and reporting skills.
• Full UK driving licence.
• LANTRA Professional Tree Inspection is desirable.
• Experience in conducting tree inspections and assessments is desirable.
  Company will provide all Personal Track Safety and DZEP (Highspeed 1) training, a suitable vehicle and fuel card and all PPE and equipment required to carry out the role.

THERE IS A REQUIREMENT TO WORK ACROSS THE UK, WHICH MAY REQUIRE SOME OVERNIGHT STAYS. COMPANY WILL PROVIDE ACCOMMODATION FOR ANY OVERNIGHT STAYS.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

This is a full-time role for a level 3 Arboriculturist, requiring some flexibility for occasional remote work. Candidates should be located with 60 minutes travel from our Rayleigh office, as this role has primarily office-based responsibilities. The Arboriculturist will be responsible for tasks related to our UAV / DroneArb:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Analysis of our DroneArb aerial footage.
• Species identification for the DroneArb project.
• Ability to categorise lineside vegetation accurately.
• Ability to create accurate, sustainable work prescriptions within a time and safety critical environment.
