Smart Kids Nursery is a welcoming, Ofsted-registered childcare setting in the heart of Digbeth, Birmingham. We are seeking multiple Childcare Apprentices to join our enthusiastic and friendly team. This is the perfect opportunity for passionate individuals who want to gain practical experience while studying towards a recognised qualification.

As a Childcare Apprentice, you will:

• Assist with the daily running of the nursery, ensuring a safe, caring, and engaging environment for all children.
• Support practitioners in planning and delivering activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
• Actively engage children in creative play, storytelling, singing, and outdoor activities.
• Observe and record children’s development and share findings with the team.
• Help children with routines such as snack time, lunch, personal hygiene, and nap time.
• Support children’s emotional wellbeing and encourage positive behaviour.
• Work collaboratively with parents and carers to support each child’s individual needs.
• Adhere to all safeguarding, health & safety, and equality policies.
