Description

We are seeking Early Years Play Leaders to work during the school holidays. this is a part time fixed term contract for each holiday. we are seeking level 3 qualified practitioners.

SKILLS

  • Excellent communication skills to engage with children, parents, and colleagues
  • Ability to drive learning through play-based activities
  • Strong organisational skills to manage daily routines effectively and running of activities
    -To work well as a team and support the other staff.
  • Have a fun, caring positive attitude and create a warm and loving atmosphere for the early years

REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be a Level 3 in Early Years childcare (Qualification needs to be full and relevant and accepted by the DfE, certificates will be checked using (https://www.gov.uk/guidance/early-years-qualifications-finder)
  • Have childcare experience
  • to work a minimum of 3 days a week during the school holidays, 8.5 hours shift between 8am-6pm
Responsibilities
  • To provide a high standard of physical, emotional, social and intellectual care for children from 3 -12 years
  • work as a team to create a safe and stimulating environment for children to learn and play.
  • To Plan and implement age-appropriate exciting activities to support the children’s development and play
  • Setting up and arranging equipment ready for activities, running activities with the children and tidying up afterwards. working with the team to keep the club clean and tidy.
  • To give support to the other team members within the facility and to follow the instructions of the management team.
  • To be aware of and act in accordance with current legislation, good practice, club policies and procedures
  • To promote the high standards of the club at all times to parents, staff and visitors
  • Communicate effectively with the team and manage daily routines and ensure the well-being of all children in your care
  • Support with hygiene routines and supervise meal times.
