OVERVIEW

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Educator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with children. QUALIFICATIONS

  • Relevant qualifications in Early Childhood Education or Childcare (e.g., Level 3 Diploma or equivalent).
  • Previous experience working with children in a nursery or educational setting is essential.
  • Strong management skills with the ability to lead a team effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
  • A genuine passion for nurturing children’s development through play-based learning.

Responsibilities
  • Plan and implement engaging and age-appropriate educational activities that support children’s learning and development.
  • Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for all children.
  • Observe and assess children’s progress, documenting their achievements and identifying areas for further development.
  • Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to promote effective communication and collaboration.
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively, using positive reinforcement strategies to encourage good conduct.
  • Provide leadership within the team, mentoring less experienced staff members as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations as well as safeguarding policies.
  • Maintain accurate records of children’s attendance, progress, and any incidents that may occur.
