Acrastyle Ltd are looking to recruit a Level 3 Engineering Fitter (Test Engineer Electrical) Apprentice to join their team in September/October!
Acrastyle Ltd is an engineering resource-rich company which designs, manufactures, tests, installs, commissions and maintains high-voltage sub-station protection and control equipment.
As a Test Engineer, your role would be to test and inspect a variety of protection equipment to technical drawings and customer specifications.

SKILLS AND PERSONAL QUALITIES

The ideal candidate would be someone with a background in test and inspection with a sharp eye for detail, enjoys working as part of a team, but can work on own initiative and able to establish great working relationships within their team

• Mechanically and electronically inspecting/testing the panels to a high standard.
• Following test and inspection processes and procedures.
• Checking the quality of protection control panels to general arrangements diagrams, wiring diagrams, schematics and customer specifications.
• Inspecting quality of disconnectors and LNERs.
• Communicate faults and technical queries to Engineering and Production teams.
