Hello. We are seeking a passionate Nursery Practitioner to join our team at Greygates Nursery in Muswell Hill, London. Established in 1954, we are a small, family-owned nursery with a wonderful and experienced team, caring for up to 48 children daily.
If you are qualified to Level 3 with experience in a nursery setting, have a comprehensive knowledge of the EYFS and are passionate about making a difference to every child’s overall health and well-being, then we would love to hear from you.
Your key responsibilities will include: * Key Person responsibilities * Ensuring that the EYFS curriculum is implemented, through imaginative, creative and child-led initiatives. * Working in partnership with parents by providing effective feedback on their child’s learning and holding one to one meetings. * Supporting your Head of Room and contributing positively to the culture and reputation of Greygates * Adhering to Nursery policies and procedures which includes the Safeguarding and Health and Safety of all children.

The candidate should:

• Have a passion for working with children and developing their learning through play.
• Hold ideally a level 3 (minimum level 2) or equivalent qualification with experience in a nursery setting
• Have a thorough understanding and hands-on experience of the EYFS, child development and Ofsted regulations.
• Show a commitment to the protection and safeguarding of children as well as high standards in confidentiality.
• Be able to work collaboratively alongside our Crew to live our mission and values.
• Have excellent communication skills with fluency in written and spoken English.
• Hold current Paediatric First Aid certification We are an equal opportunities employer.
