Responsibilities

ROLE OVERVIEW:

As a Nursery Room Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing a team of educators in your designated room. You will play a key role in planning and delivering high-quality early years education, ensuring that every child’s individual needs are met. You will be a role model, providing guidance and support to junior staff and ensuring our nursery’s policies and procedures are followed.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead, manage, and motivate your team in the delivery of high-quality early years education.
  • Ensure the room’s daily operations run smoothly and in accordance with nursery policies.
  • Monitor children’s progress and plan activities to support their developmental milestones.
  • Foster strong relationships with parents, keeping them informed of their child’s progress.
  • Promote a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for both children and staff.
  • Lead by example, ensuring a high standard of care and education is maintained at all times.
