As a SysTrack and RCA Engineer, you will investigate systemic issues that negatively affect the end user experience, and implement solutions that increase productivity and lower the total cost of ownership of the end user computing environment. You will be responsible for analyzing business requirements, performing options analysis, ensuring quality/alignment of designs, and you will demonstrate and apply knowledge of enterprise endpoint architecture and standards. You will also be responsible for the development, communication and implementation of the organization's technology endpoints and the components required to support endpoints. Primary Responsibilities: Desktop Management: Oversee the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of Windows desktop environments Troubleshooting: Perform advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis to resolve desktop-related issues efficiently DEX Expertise: Utilize your deep understanding of Desktop Experience (DEX) to enhance user productivity and satisfaction User Support: Provide expert-level support to end-users, addressing their technical concerns and training them on best practices System Upgrades: Plan and execute system upgrades, patches, and updates to ensure optimal performance and security Automation: Develop and implement automation scripts to streamline desktop management tasks. Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of desktop configurations, processes, and procedures Collaboration: Work closely with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration and support of desktop systems Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regard to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so Required Qualifications: 7+ years of experience in Windows desktop engineering or a related field. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Windows OS and associated Hardware, Active Directory, Entra, Group Policy, Conditional Access and desktop virtualization technologies. Experience utilizing a Unified Endpoint Management tool for managing domain and Entra Windows devices. Experience creating and deploying Windows Images DEX Knowledge: Solid background in Desktop Experience (DEX) tools to measure endpoint performance, correlate issues with changes, and user experience optimization. Knowledge of operating system level logging Analytical Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on root cause analysis and resolution Automation: Experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell for automation Communication: Solid verbal and written communication skills Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in a Microsoft centric environment (O365, M365) Experience with Lakeside SysTrack Experience working in a large endpoint environment over 50k Experience working in a highly regulated industry i.e. Insurance, Healthcare, Banking At UnitedHealth Group, our mission is to help people live healthier lives and make the health system work better for everyone.
