This role will support works at the GLNG Blast Yard, contributing to critical maintenance and preparation activities. About the role You will be working hands‑on blasting and painting valves and pipework in the GLNG blast yard, with the potential for some in‑plant blasting and painting as required. This is a short‑term project role expected to run for approximately 3–4 weeks, with solid daily hours. Hours are expected to be 8–10 hours per day, depending on site requirements. What we offer • Casual, non‑annualised Level 4 Painter/Blaster rate – $71.67 per hour (inclusive of casual loading, exclusive of superannuation) • Steady hours for the duration of the project • All PPE and required tools provided • Work with a reputable organisation on a well‑managed site Key responsibilities • Blasting and painting of valves and pipework in the blast yard • Preparation and finishing of surfaces to required specifications • Adherence to site safety, quality, and environmental procedures • Working collaboratively with the broader site team About you • Trade‑qualified or experienced Painter/Blaster • Demonstrated experience with industrial blasting and painting • Strong safety focus and ability to follow procedures • Reliable, team‑oriented, and able to work extended daily hours About UGL We’re part of the CIMIC Group and proud to employ people from all walks of life.
