JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Educator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. As an Early Years Educator, you will play a crucial role in fostering a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment that promotes the development of children’s social, emotional, and cognitive skills.

EXPERIENCE

  • A recognised qualification in Early Childhood Education or Childcare is essential.
  • Previous experience working with children in a nursery or similar setting is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication skills in English are required for effective interaction with children and parents.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage classroom dynamics and foster positive relationships among children.
  • A proactive approach to professional development, with a willingness to learn new techniques and methodologies in early years education.

Responsibilities
  • Create and implement engaging educational activities tailored to the developmental needs of children aged 0-5 years.
  • Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to build strong relationships and ensure a collaborative approach to childcare.
  • Manage classroom behaviour by establishing clear expectations and providing positive reinforcement.
  • Observe and assess children’s progress, documenting their achievements and areas for improvement.
  • Drive initiatives that promote inclusivity and diversity within the learning environment.
  • Maintain a safe and clean nursery space, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.
  • Collaborate with other educators to share best practices and enhance the overall quality of early years education.
  • Provide leadership support within the team, mentoring less experienced staff as needed.
