Are you someone who enjoys talking to people, solving problems, and helping others stay on track? We’re hiring for a Level 1 Collections & Customer Service Agent to join a team supporting one of the largest automotive finance companies in the country!
In this role, you’ll be reaching out to customers who recently purchased vehicles and may have missed a payment or need help updating their contact or billing information. You won’t be chasing down long-overdue accounts-instead, you’ll be part of the early-stage support team (1-60 days past due), helping customers avoid fees and stay on top of their car loans with friendly reminders, payment options, and accurate info.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Make outbound calls to customers with recently overdue auto loan payments (1-60 days past due)
• Provide helpful, friendly reminders and walk customers through available payment options
• Update and verify customer contact details, billing addresses, and preferred payment methods
• Take payments over the phone in a secure and professional manner
• Educate customers on how to avoid late fees or disruptions in service
• Escalate accounts past 60 days overdue to the next-level collections team
• Maintain accurate call logs and follow call scripts to stay in compliance
• Handle occasional emotionally charged conversations with professionalism and empathy
• Deliver excellent customer service with every interaction
