OVERVIEW

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Dental Assistant to join our dynamic team. This is a new position to our office as we are growing. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our office operations. We are in need of a self-starter who likes to be busy, enjoys different tasks throughout the day and being part of a growing practice within a fun environment. This position is perfect for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are eager to learn and grow.

HOURLY RATE TO BE DISCUSSED AND DETERMINED BY LEVEL OF EXPERIENCE.

Experience:

  • Dental assisting: 1 year (required
Responsibilities
  • Manage daily office tasks, including rescheduling cancelled appointments.
  • Scheduling appointments from pending lists for all providers.
  • Answering the phone.
  • Confirmations.
  • Assist DDS on Mondays and Fridays as well as helping out in the steri centre.
  • Float throughout the clinic Tuesdays to Thursdays helping out our ortho hygienist, assisting our treatment coordinator, relieving assistants when needed for lunches.
  • Experience
  • HARP certified mandatory.
  • Experience with Tracker software preferred
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Team player.
    Hours: Monday-Thursday 8:30-5:00; Friday’s 8:30-4. Office closed every 3rd Friday per month.
