Description
Description Job purpose Nature of the position involves assisting, under moderate supervision, in the manufacture of subassembly parts for each product line. Downstream technicians are trained on a variety of processes including, but not limited to, buffer manufacturing, gel preparation, ID plate manufacturing and packaging, LFA card manufacturing processes and procedures, and labeling of some finished goods. Downstream technicians are encouraged to generate and act on ideas to improve such processes. Key duties and responsibilities Generic buffer manufacturing Gel and ID plate preparation LFA card manufacturing and processing ID plate production Minor equipment and process troubleshooting Packaging and labeling of subassembly parts Generating ideas to improve processes and product quality, including assisting with validations for equipment and processes Apply good documentation practices when recording data and completing records Must comply with all company policies, procedures, internal and external quality standards, and relevant regulatory standards Must effectively communicate with others, be approachable, have a positive and flexible attitude, and display a strong work ethic Any other duties as assigned Qualifications Required qualifications: High School Diploma or GED Ability to perform minor troubleshooting Good teamwork, professional behavior and effective communication skills Must be comfortable performing repetitive tasks with a high attention to detail Desired qualifications: Skilled in Microsoft Word and Excel Experience in an ISO 14971, ISO 13485, and/or FDA regulated environment Familiar with Lean Six Sigma principles Equal Opportunity Employment: IMMY is committed to the principle of equal employment opportunity for all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any kind without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state, and local laws.
