Description

Position: Warehouse Supervisor, Mail Sorting Center Employee Type: Full-time Location: Aurora, IL Job Duties: The Supervisor will supervise employees at a Surface Transfer Center (STC) for the US Postal Service under contract with LGSTX Distribution Services, Inc. (LDS). Responsibilities will include the following: * Ensures accurate, timely sorting of mail by employees * Performs supervisory functions including staffing, personnel interviewing, selection, training, rewards/discipline, performance reviews, attendance, timekeeping and safety compliance * Maintains effective communication regarding operational requirements to employees * Responsible for operational policy communication and problem resolution * Assists Manager and Shift Managers of STC as necessary Job Requirements: * High School Diploma/GED * At least 2 years of freight, logistics, distribution or warehouse operations supervisory experience * Strong interpersonal, organizational, and analytical skills * The ability to work in partnership with corporate LGSTX teams including Executive Management, Human Resources, Safety and Training. * Proficient with PC using Microsoft Office software * Working knowledge of regulations governing government contractors and applicable state and federal laws * Ability to lead a safe work facility by applying company, state and federal safe practices, policies and regulations * Must be able to work flexible hours as needed to support a 24/7 operation * The ability to work in a startup operations environment * The ability to lift objects weighing up to 35 lbs * Ability to pass a federal background check and drug test to access USPS facility Preferred Skills: * Bachelor's Degree Benefits of working at LGSTX LGSTX Services, Inc. offers a friendly, professional company culture and: * Medical, dental and vision insurance * Paid time off * 401K with company matching * Company paid and voluntary life insurance * Short-term and long-term disability * Wellness incentives About LGSTX Services, Inc.
