LGV C+E (HGV Class 1) Driver based Crewe
Pay Rate: £37,978 based on a 45 hour contract (£16.23 per hour)

Shift patterns: Predominantly Monday to Friday - starts between 04:00-06:00 - will include occasional planned nights out

DHL, award winning leading supply chain business is seeking a HGV (C+E), Driver to play a vital role in our distribution service.

As part of your normal duties, whilst maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will:

• Monday – Friday – Starts generally are between 04:00-06:00. (Must be able to do nights out - approx. 4 per month)
• Average week is 52 hours - overtime paid at time and a half
• Carrying high value products delivering nationally to RDC’s and stores
• Usually 2-4 deliveries mixture of bay deliveries and pump truck to store
• To complete the safe & efficient transportation of high value goods to customers using a commercial motor vehicle meeting company, customer & legislative requirement
• Drive in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers’ Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
• Comply with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations
