The Liaison Engineering Lead will provide leadership and technical direction to the Aircraft Installation Liaison Team in the modification and certification of a business jet airframe with attached ISR sensors.
Specific Responsibilities:
Manage a team of Drafters, Designers, Stress Analysts and Aerodynamic Engineers working to complete liaison tasking in support of business jet airframe modification.
Provide program and technical direction to team by assigning tasks.
Review designs, drawings, and reports for accuracy and completeness to ensure design meets company and FAA part 25 certification requirements.
Support manufacturing team and suppliers throughout fabrication and assembly of aircraft.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum of 10 years of experience managing multiple work groups for aircraft programs
Ability to effectively communicate and coordinate with program management, customers, company functions, and the engineering team to achieve program goals
Ability to effectively plan, assign, and status tasking for the engineering team
Experience with airframe modifications
Experience with FAA airworthiness standards and documentation
Ability to support travel to Oklahoma City at least 50% of the time
Desired Qualifications:
Demonstrated experience in Aircraft liaison support
Experience in Special Mission Aircraft modification and Aircraft Sensor Integration programs with a focus in Aircraft Structures
Background in FAA Code of Federal Regulations (CFAR) Title 14 Part 25 Airworthiness Standards
Experience with EO and EARR documentation and processes.
Experience with Solidworks
Ability to be onsite at Oklahoma City program location 100% (full time)

Typically requires:
A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years
prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years experience Engineering/Other Technical Positions: Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited
by local laws/regulations.
The salary range for this role is 118,000 USD - 246,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
