Position Overview Department: Guest Services - Front Intake, Spa, Fitness Schedule: Rotating 8hr shifts, Sunday-Saturday Work Location: UAB. Receive, screen, route and/or respond to all incoming inquiries for information, directions or concerns. Receive guest suggestions and complaints and escalate through proper channels. Provide patient information in compliance with The Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) requirements and organizational privacy policies. Identify and report issues of safety and maintenance. Assist in improving patient satisfaction while keeping volunteer office management informed of potential problems. Anticipate family's needs and resolve issues before they become major source of concern. What You Will Need Licensure / Certification / Registration: • BLS Provider. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted, preferred. .Education: High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. Responsibilities

The role involves acting as a liaison between guests, staff, and patients to address information inquiries, directions, and concerns, while ensuring all patient information is handled in compliance with HIPAA and privacy policies. This person will also receive suggestions and complaints, report safety/maintenance issues, and proactively resolve family needs to improve patient satisfaction.
