• Qualifications: Eligible for Associate membership of the Australian Library and Information Association (ALIA) with an ALIA-accredited library and information science qualification.
• Expertise: Strong knowledge of library and information service concepts, principles, and theory.
• Tech-Savvy: Understanding of library systems, practices, procedures, and current developments, with the ability to support evolving library technologies. Digital Literacy and AI expertise, and the ability to support this knowledge and development in others.
• Adaptable: Willingness to travel as needed to meet business requirements.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We have an exciting permanent full-time position as the Librarian Grade 1 for TAFE NSW, working across both Leeton and Griffith campuses. You will be required to work between the two campuses, undertaking both face-to-face and online services at each location, with half of your working week spent at Leeton and half at Griffith.
As a Librarian at TAFE NSW, you’ll play a crucial role in empowering our diverse student body by providing top-notch information literacy instruction and support, both in-person and online.
You’ll be at the forefront of delivering and promoting innovative, customer-focused library services that are key to our students’ educational success.
